FRDI - Federation of Riding for the Disabled
FRDI forms worldwide links between countries and centers offering equine assisted activities and assists in the development of new programs worldwide. They have members from over 45 different countries around the world.
FRDI supports high standards of protection and training of horses involved in the activities. They adhere to the most stringent standards of safety and competency and are dedicated to excellence in the field of Therapeutic Riding.
The Federation of Riding for the Disabled International A.I.S.B.L. was founded in 1980 and is registered in Belgium as a non-profit organization.
Their mission is to facilitate the worldwide collaboration between organizations and individuals whose objectives are philantropic, scientific and educational in the field of equine assisted activities.
